RIP Robert Sherman
Musician Robert Sherman died on March 5, 2012 at age 86. Together with his younger brother Richard, “The Sherman Brothers” were Walt Disney’s last resort when the soundtrack for a movie didn’t meet Walt’s requirements.
They were responsable for such wonderful songs as Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious (Mary Poppins), Colonel Hathi’s March (The Jungle Book), Ev’rybody Wants to Be a Cat (The Aristocats), and also the famous (to some infamous) It’s a Small World (every Disney theme park).
